Acoustical Lining

The lining deteriorates or erodes in most cases on the acoustically lined ventilation and dust work not to mention systems that have been damaged by contractors during installations and repairs.

Manufactures of these products have mentioned little about recommended life expectancies. One reason is due to erosion and damage caused by improper installation and maintenance. The main reason is that the liability and responsibility would be shared between the manufacturers, installers, maintenance contractors and consumers unless they have a detailed contract stating the maintenance requirements and life expectancy.
